I found it pretty good to break a stress cycle that went on for a few months. 2mg gave me restless legs for the first few nights but ended as soon as my mood lifted.I want to learn more about this. I believe it could help more with my sleep issues. I have ridiculous on and off histamine issues. But I just don't wan to fork over big money to ADC and wait a month to get this.
Glad it helped you, bro. I agree, cypro should be in every person's drawer/cabinet in case of unforeseen stress (and who does not get it these days;-?) A tablet is 4mg, the standard size for the OTC tablets used as a 2 generation anti-histamine (for people with seasonal allergies and such) For me a 0.5-1.0mg (1/4-1/8 of a tablet) works magic in making me sleepy and relaxed. The best time to take it around 6PM, since it takes some time to hit you. When I used to wake up at 3 AM, lying around not falling asleep for an hour, take 0.5mg cypro at around 4 AM, then stay awake for another hour or two, and then the tablet hit me around 5:30-6:00, fall asleep only needing to wake up at 8AM to go to work. And then at work, you are sleepy, since it's still acting on you, until 1PM and maybe even more. So take it early in the evening if you feel your sleep may get bad that night.I found it pretty good to break a stress cycle that went on for a few months. 2mg gave me restless legs for the first few nights but ended as soon as my mood lifted.
if you don't use it more than 3 days in a row there is no need to worry about withdrawal from it correct? or you can see the difference the following night even if it is taken once?Glad it helped you, bro. Also, try not to use it more than 3 nights in a row, you get used to it and if stopping your sleep will suffer. The withdrawal will take 3-4 days to fully disappear.
Melatonin gives me restless legs like crazy. I only use a small dose of it if any, due to restless legs.
it seems like $9 are required to read that article.Dan from CowsEatGrass had a fabulous write up on it. It might be behind a paywall now. "Feeling Very Periactin."
He had taken it for a year and came off with no issues.
I personally came off of it with no issues after a few weeks.
No I try to take is as needed only. I know Ray prefers it to be taken as needed and not regularly - also at small doses.
Georgi tolerates larger doses of it without lethargy.
